How to play

The object of Blackjack is to beat the dealer.

Players win by either getting a higher point total than the dealer without going over 21 (going bust) or by the dealer going bust.

  • Aces are worth 1 or 11 (whichever is preferable)
  • Face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are worth 10
  • Other cards are worth their face value.

Aces Royal™ Blackjack is just you against the dealer.

In Aces Royal™ Blackjack, the cards are dealt from a ‘shoe’ containing four decks of 52 cards each. These are shuffled every time at least 52 cards have been dealt.

Terms

  • ‘Hit’ - take another card.
  • ‘Stand’ - don't take any more cards.
  • ‘Double Down’ - double your bet, and take only one more card.
  • ‘Split’ - divide a pair of cards (such as two 3's) or two face cards (jacks, queens and kings) into two hands, matching your original bet on the new hand.
  • ‘Surrender’ - accept a loss, but only lose half your bet.
  • ‘Insurance’ - pay an additional half your bet in case the dealer gets blackjack. If the dealer does have blackjack, insurance pays even money.

Good luck and have fun!
